80 Stained glass coloring pages
Irregular leaded panes, no two the same size. Color them in a limited palette and they read like a real window.
Before you print a stack: which pencils actually suit this kind of page.
Questions
- Are these stained glass pages really free?
- Yes — print any of the 80 pages on this site at home, in a classroom or in a library at no cost. The one thing you cannot do is resell the files themselves. The full terms are on the licence page and run to one screen.
- What size do they print at?
- US Letter with 12.7 mm margins, which also prints on A4 without clipping — A4 is narrower and taller, so the artwork sits inside the printable area either way. Choose "actual size" rather than "fit to page" and the millimetre numbers on the page stay true.
- Who drew these?
- Nobody. Each page is generated by a program from a seed number, then measured and published only if every enclosed area is big enough to color. That is why there are hundreds per style rather than a dozen, and why no two are the same.
- What makes a stained glass page hard or easy?
- Not how busy it looks — how small its smallest area is. Every page here states that number in millimetres. Easy pages hold to 4.5 mm, intricate ones to 1.9 mm, and a design that misses its rule is regenerated instead of published.
